Kip, Softball, Vinnie Updates
Softball
He came to us in such a random, mysterious way. He became Rose's best bud for a while. He was an awesome family member.
Then, much like his arrival, he just mysteriously disappeared. It happened one night when we were going through Yokie's chemo. She and I were struggling to sleep. The neighbors had a huge party going, like an epic Dazed & Confused type of deal. I was up all night.
Something at the party? Scared? Total coincidence about the party, and something more banal like a fox?
Who knows. .. . . . All we know: he never came back.
Hopefully, he just found his way back to his OG family. . . Good kid. . . . Raging stoner. Never had a cat so into catnip.
Kip
This one was brutal. Still tough to write or talk about. Kip passed away at our house at about 3am on June 24th. He was in my arms.
He was my best friend and brother for years. We all miss him every day. We love you big guy.
Vincent Darcy
On a much more positive note, Vinnie D is doing very well. He's a bit put off by the whole Brexit fiasco, as well as Harry Kane's injury; but he's right chuffed about Tottenham's new stadium and Son's run of form. Huzzah!
