I parked Wolf (our VW Golf TDI) about fifteen miles or so up the Columbus-Molt Road, and rode from there to Billings to retrieve Obelix (our Nissan Frontier pickup). Obelix has been on the ropes for years and we're fixing him up now, starting with new shocks and tires.
Kip and I left Wolf at around 6am. Next stop: Billings in 35 miles.

| The moonset over the Beartooths was spectacular. |
 |
| So was the sunrise. Even this deer seemed transfixed. |

Views of the Crazies, Snowies, Pyors, Beartooths, and Absaroka Mountains.
A few groups of antelope, lots of raptors, deer of course, and one superdog. |
33.5 miles in three hours, not bad for a black dog and a fat bike.
