One reason, it doesn't make sense to have only one bike. It's so tough. One little thing goes wrong, and you're out of comission for weeks at a time. This isn't LA, where I can pop down to some megastore that has everything in stock. And some rides are tough on a fatbike. I love the fattie, but road rides are a grind. Tough to power those kicks into a Stillwater County Headwind.
So, I've finally made the jump to two bikes. Two badass, functional, awesome bikes at the same time. No more cannibilizing the old bike to take the best parts for the new. Just two freakishly awesome bikes at the same time. Effing Stoked.
