River Rocks!

Precocious Li'l Biscuit Eater
I've been struggling with my new Bike's name for weeks now, and Rose took one look at her new bike before naming it River.  Literally one look, I'm not using that as an expression, she decided he was a boy, named him, and came up with her first pun, all in one glance.
"He's a boy Papa.  River.  You know why I call him River?  Because he Rocks!!  Get it?  Eh!?  Huh!? Right??!! River Rocks!  Get it Papa!?"
And she's right.  It's a great name, for a great bike.
The first day she had it we rode 10.3 miles.  The next day we rode over eight.
Then I spent a day on and off the roof, doing some long-delayed home maintenance.  She spent her home school day working on biking technique.  Starts, stops, turns, she practiced most of the day in her little cul de sac and in Hawkins Park.  She has her own little loop going in Hawkins Park now, that winds up our street and back.
She looks great on the bike, calm & confident, and it fits really well, with room to grow.  Kudos again to Red Rover Bikes and Giant for getting such amazing value into a kids bike.
Since then, we've ridden every day except for yesterday, when we got rained and hailed out.
River Rocks!!
